Vault Tour Meta

The meta in KeyForge refers to the strongest strategies available in competitive play. By studying Vault Tour results, players can better understand the meta and what has been historically successful in KeyForge Organized Play. In general, the Vault Tour meta shifts with the release of each set but is constantly evolving. The most powerful sets, houses, and cards change over time as players better understand the strategies of the game and as new cards are released.

This page is divided into separate metas based around each set release. During each meta period, the most successful sets, houses, and cards in the Vault Tour series are displayed in various charts and graphs. All data is taken from the top 16 deck lists from each Vault Tour event. While this data shows the most successful houses and cards overall, it is important to note that any house and any set can be successful with a strong lineup of cards, and every house has won a Vault Tour at least once. Moreover, the cards and strategies that are the most common among top decks are not necessarily the best in the game and may just be some of the most popular. Cards, sets, and houses that have performed well in the past are not guaranteed to perform well in the future; the KeyForge meta is always in flux.

Note: Decks that reach the top 16 more than once can be included multiple times in this data. This page is optimized for desktop view.

Call of the Archons Meta

Dates: March 15 - May 27, 2019

The first period of Vault Tours took place after the release of the first set, Call of the Archons, but before the release of the second set, Age of Ascension. There were a total of five Vault Tours during this period, two of which were Sealed and three of which were Archon.
