Worlds Collide is the third and current KeyForge set, announced at Gen Con on August 2nd 2019 and released on November 8, 2019. In the US, Target stores unintentionally leaked and then started selling Worlds Collide starter sets on October 2nd, more than one month before the official release date.

The first set to include new houses, Worlds Collide brought houses Saurian and Star Alliance, while taking out Mars and Sanctum. The total cardpool is 405 cards, of which 284 are new and 121 returning from one or both previous sets. The increased cardpool is only due to a larger number of Special rarity cards, while the β€œbase” number of cards per house is the same as in previous sets, typically 52.

Age of Ascension is the second KeyForge set, announced in a FFG live stream with Richard Garfield on February 12th 2019 and released on May 30, 2019. In Europe, the game launched with a Sealed Vault Tour at UK Games Expo in Birmingham. With 388 players, this is the largest KeyForge Organized Play event to date.

Keeping 166 cards from Call of the Archons and adding 204 new cards, Age of Ascension again contains 370 cards, spread among the same seven houses as: Brobnar, Dis, Logos, Mars, Sanctum, Shadows and Untamed.

Albany VT

The Albany Vault Tour was hosted at the Albany Capital Center in Albany, NY, United States from January 10-12, 2020. The format was Archon survival, and it was the first of this format since the release of Worlds Collide. The event had the highest attendance in the United States to date for an archon Vault Tour outside of Gen Con with 142 players. It was the first archon Vault Tour in which Shadows was not the most popular house in the top 16. Players were allowed to choose any of their remaining surviving decks for day 2, and players in the top 4 played their matches as best-of-three. Although the top 4 had decks from all three sets, there was only one Age of Ascension deck in the entire top cut.

The event was won by Luke Daniels from Team SAS-LP, who played a Call of the Archons deck during the finals. He won ten consecutive games with

after an early record of 0-2 with his first two decks. The winning deck also went undefeated on Day 1 of the 2019 Denver Vault Tour; it used to be a LANS deck.

In the "All Unique" model, every card in the deck is unique; there is no more than one copy of each card in the deck. In the "2 sets of 2 cards" model, there are duplicates of two cards in the deck (e.g. 2 copies of Bad Penny and 2 copies of Yxilo Bolter), and 1 copy of all other cards in the deck. In the "1 set of 3 cards" model, one card has 3 copies in the deck (e.g. 3 copies of Bad Penny) while all other cards in the deck have just 1 copy. Numbers courtesy of SkyJedi
