KeyForge Celebration

KeyForge Celebration is the yearly landmark event for KeyForge, organized by Ghost Galaxy and hosted at Gamezenter in Roseville, MN. The first KeyForge Celebration was held in November of 2022. KeyForge Celebration is also the site of the KeyForge World Championships, starting with KeyForge Celebration 2023.

2024

Information

KeyForge Celebration 2024 was the 3rd KeyForge Celebration event organized by Ghost Galaxy. It was attended by 153 participants and spanned 4 days, one day longer than previous Celebrations. The event also hosted the 2024 World Championships for Archon, Alliance, and Sealed, the latter of which was a new inclusion to the World Championships. KeyForge Celebration 2024 also contained the Last Chance Qualifier and the Open Tournaments.

Deck Cloning and Deck Accolades were also announced during the Keynote speech, and became available after the speech concluded.

KeyForge Celebration 2023 was the 2nd KeyForge Celebration event held, and the first to host the World Championships. The event had almost 200 participants, and featured both the World Championships as well as Open Tournaments for Archon and Alliance. In addition, there were several side events, including the introduction of The Fall of the House Gormangeist Nightmare Mode, a Menagerie preview event, as well as a Grim Reminders sealed alliance preview event. There was also a last chance qualifier to allow participants the chance to qualify for any remaining spots in the World Championships.

KeyForge Celebration 2022 featured the introduction of Ghost Galaxy's vision for what Organized Play would look like going forward. Friday featured a Sealed Alliance tournament debuting Winds of Exchange, followed by an Archon and Alliance tournament being held on Saturday and Sunday. All three of these tournaments were held using a double elimination format, breaking from the tradition of using Swiss pairings for high level events. As players were eliminated, they entered a second chance event know as Second Æmber. Other events featured at KeyForge Celebration included Unchained Duels and a cooperative Rise of the Keyraken challenge.
