• Facedown cards are typically considered to be hidden information. In the original rulebook, Purge placed cards facedown and out of play. FFG changed this in Rulebook 1.3) to make them faceup, which seems to indicate that facedown cards (with the exception of the Archives) are not viewable by either player.
