Overview
House Untamed is unique among the houses of KeyForge in that it is less defined by what it is, than it is defined by what it is not. Untamed can be said to be anything that lives any place which is wild, free, and unspoiled by more "sophisticated" technology. Any location where the flora and fauna are allowed to grow according to their own whims, or where the flora and fauna are too dangerous to be conquered by sapient beings is where Untamed lives.
Membership
Any being that chooses to live in the wilderness of The Crucible without attempting to bring that wilderness under full control can be said to be a member of the Untamed. Beasts that are similarly wild and free are also typically under the purview of Untamed. The most common and notable example of those who choose to live as Untamed are the witches, which is a catch-all term for anyone who lives in the wilderness and somehow draws their strength from the area, often aided by helpful mutations or the powers granted by æmber.
Sub-Groups
Kindrith - Wilderness dwelling humans.
Singa - Bestial clawed anthropomorphs.
Witches - Magic using naturalists.
Exiles - Individuals cast out from their society.
Leadership
The leadership of house untamed is highly decentralized. However, certain individuals are recognized as holding considerable sway. The Witch Queen and the Eldest Bear being two such members of note.
Uses for Æmber
Untamed uses æmber for a multitude of purposes. Most notably, the Witches use æmber to power their spells, and many members of the Untamed seek out æmber in order to gain mutations.
Relationship with Archons
Beings of the Untamed tend to join with archons on an individual basis. The ability archons have to communicate with all living beings grants them a definite advantage when it comes to forming pack-bonds with beasts of the wild. Witches and other sapient members of the Untamed make deals with archons in more typical and straightforwards manner.
Goals
The Untamed do not have much in the way of shared goals, as the house is made of primarily of beasts and plants who have little thoughts beyond survival and those who would choose to live in a wilderness. Those who choose to live in the wilderness willingly, however, tend to be reclusive in nature and often times wish to be left alone. This tends to cause issues as powerful witches tend to draw the attention of those who would seek out their aid and abilities.
